Rufus E. EBLIN died at his home on W. Main St. on Wednesday morning. He has been ailing with cardiac asthma for some time. A short funeral service will be held at the home on Friday morning at 10:30 by Rev. RL Hartling. The body will then be taken to Brownsburg where a service will be conducted at the Christian Church by Rev. Mr. Fugit. Burial in Green Lawn Cemetery. He was the son of Jasper and Elizabeth Eblin and was born at Kent, June 3, 1866. He married Miss Ellen Ellis in 1896 who survives with 5 children: Emral of Ft. Pierce, Fla; Mrs. Ethle Shores of Knonwa, Okla; Mrs. Doris Heitsman of Cumberland; Mrs. Elizabeth Klein and John of Indianapolis.; 5 grandchildren and one great. Mr. Eblin lived for 11 years in Waveland, being in business for part of the time and also following the trade of painter and decorator. He was a member of the Christian Church. - kbz

Funeral services for Rufus E. Eblin were held at the home on West Main Street Friday morning at 10:30 in charge of Rev. RL Harling. The pall bearers were William Simms; Harmon Zachary; Jesse McMains; Otto Kolling; Charles F. Moore and Henry McCarty. Corta Dooley; OG Swaney; Paul Emmert and Myron Banta sane Jesus lover of My Soul and Out of the Very Palaces," with Mr. Walker at the piano. A service was held at the Brownsburg Christian Church in the afternoon. The Grim Reaper of Death has called another to the Temple above. Rufus Edgar Eblin had been in poor health for some months but made a brave fight for recovery. The end came on Wednesday morning, June 29 at 8 o'clock age 72 years 26 days. He was the son of Jasper and Emily Eblin and was born in Kent, Indiana June 3, 1866. He was unite din marriage to Ella Ellis, may 21, 1892. This union was blest with five children: Emarel of Ft. Pierce, Florida; Ethel of Kenowa, Oklahoma; Doris, Elizabeth and John of Indianapolis, Indiana. He united with the West park Christian Church in 1906 remaining a member of that church until death. He leaves to mourn this departure the wife Ella, 5 children, 5 grandchildren and one great grandson, one brother and two sisters and a host of other relatives and friends. - kbz
